The Graduate Quantity Surveyor Role
The ideal Graduate Quantity Surveyor will have gained some practical experience within a UK Construction Consultancy through internships, placements, or similar opportunities.
This consultancy offers a wealth of projects, providing an excellent platform for professional growth, industry exposure, and APC support. Key projects include:
- High rise apartment blocks
- Low rise apartment blocks
- Mixed use developments
- Student Accommodation & Shared Living
- Hotels
- Stadia
The new Graduate Quantity Surveyor will benefit from mentorship by experienced, chartered professionals, involvement in Employers Agent and Project Management tasks, and a variety of sector experiences, all within a structured development plan geared towards achieving chartership.
The Graduate Quantity Surveyor
The incoming Graduate Quantity Surveyor will be enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to build a long-term career within the firm. You will also have:
- A construction related degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
- Basic pre & post contract experience ideally
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a UK Construction Consultancy
- Trainee role, Apprenticeship, Work Experience, Internship etc
- A valid UK driving license is beneficial
