Join a dynamic and innovative team within a leading firm in rail infrastructure development. With a track record of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, They are embarking on an £80m rail upgrade initiative that promises to transform transportation in the region. They're seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of this project.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient progress and quality workmanship.
  • Supervise concrete structure installations, lineside civil engineering activities, and other related construction tasks in accordance with project specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with PTS (Personal Track Safety) regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress reports to track project milestones and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges, optimise resource utilisation, and meet project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in rail infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete structures, lineside civil engineering, and railway construction processes.
  • Possession of valid PTS certification is essential.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage resources effectively, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
