An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager with an repairs and maintenance background - focusing on sustainability projects within social housing - to join a social housing contractor based on a new project across Lincolnshire/Leicestershire.

Description

  • Manage daily site operations within the repairs/maintenance department
  • Oversee safety and compliance with industry standards
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Ensure the completion of construction projects within set timelines
  • Lead team meetings and maintain open communication channels
  • Implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Provide regular project updates to senior management
  • Handle any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and professionally

Profile

A successful Site Manager / Supervisor should have:

  • Relevant experience in the social housing sector (if there is a focus on M&E this would be an advantage)
  • Experience working in repairs/maintenance, planned/reactive maintenance is desirable
  • Proficiency in managing construction projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations

This role could also suit someone at supervisor level looking to take a step up into a managerial level role.
