Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Site Manager to oversee our refurbishment projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of refurbishment projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop project plans, including timelines and budgets, and monitor progress against those plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop on-site teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation as required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, with a focus on refurbishment projects.
- West-London-Based
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) and a valid driving license.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
