Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Site Manager with expertise in groundworks to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Oversee and direct groundworks operations, including excavation, foundation work, drainage systems, and utility installations.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental policies.
- Supervise and mentor on-site personnel, providing leadership and guidance to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a focus on groundworks in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of groundworks processes, including excavation, foundation construction, and utility installations.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental considerations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
