As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager with a strong background in groundworks to join our team.

Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Site Manager with expertise in groundworks to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Oversee and direct groundworks operations, including excavation, foundation work, drainage systems, and utility installations.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental policies.
  • Supervise and mentor on-site personnel, providing leadership and guidance to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a focus on groundworks in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks processes, including excavation, foundation construction, and utility installations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental considerations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Relevant degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
