Site Manager required for upcoming retail scheme in Belfast City Centre

Your new company is a leading, innovative international construction and engineering company, boasting 150+ years of experience providing high levels of construction expertise and delivering landmark projects in the build, civils, pharmaceutical, retail and technology sphere.
Your new employer will provide the opportunity to work on some of the countries largest and most innovative projects, and due to such success in contract awards as well as ambitious growth plans, they now require an experienced Site Manager to join their stable, operational management team.
Your new role
As Site Manager you will be responsible to the Project Manager and work closely with the QS. You are responsible for the management of the on-site programme in respect of delivery, workmanship and safety. You will ensure that adequate and proper labour, plant, materials and sub-contractor's resources are available to meet the requirements of the contract.

You will be managing key client and supplier relationships, reporting on and responsible for Project Delivery, working closely with HSEQS teams to ensure compliance with internal and external initiatives and Resource Planning for staff and supply chain. Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of project stages in line with budget and client expectation will also be integral to the successful fulfilment of this role.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role as Site Manager you will have;

Good written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with colleagues, clients and third parties, in a warm and persuasive way both formally and informally and able to alter style and method to suit audience Proven track record of least ten years within a construction management environment with a similar National/Regional Contractor, with a strong track record of the high HSEQS standards Strong analytical skills Organised with good time management and capable of proactive planning Ability to get the best out of individuals, teams & trade contractors and build consensus where differences of opinion arise Ability to relate Company commercial strategy to own activities Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of all the trades required on site, the codes of practice relating to them and the requirements for them to be able to carry out required works Delivery focused and driver of performance What you'll get in return
