Site Manager - Commercial Refurbishment Project

£220.00 - £235.00 per day
Our Client, an established construction contractor based in the South East, are currently looking for a Site Manager to join their fit out refurbishment project.
They are currently delivering internal & external refurbishment works across both housing and school projects. Works that are typically delivered include electrical & M&E works, roof replacements, window and door installation and concrete restoration.
On a day to day basis, you will act as an integral part of the operational team and carry out the following duties.
- Management of sub-contractors & direct operatives
- Lead the site team to the best of your ability
- Manage delivery of works to specification
- Have several direct reports to manage
- Progress meetings with clients
- Pre & post inspections
- Health & safety & quality checks
My client are looking for someone with strong communication skills and a proven track record managing and delivering decent home schemes. A valid SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid are required.
This is a freelance position with a growing contractor, if performance is good the role could be extended or made permanent.
