Busy Housing Contractor seeks Site Manager for Fife-Based Projects
Your new company
Our client is a leading builder and developer who has a long track record of delivering exceptional residential developments across the Central Belt. With multiple new sites commencing across Fife in the New Year, they are seeking to add multiple site managers to their operational team to start immediately.
Your new role
As Site Manager, you will be reporting to your Project Manager and you will be operationally responsible for the management of medium-sized residential development in Fife. You will set the tone for the project, focusing on high quality, safety and a positive work atmosphere, and you will work with your subcontractor network to efficiently and effectively complete their packages of work. There is complexity in these projects, and you must understand the process of design management, value engineering and construction methodologies.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be from a construction management degree background or from a trade background with significant experience working for large or medium-sized builders or developers as a Site Manager. You must have experience of building flatted developments and are comfortable working with a demanding set of stakeholders from architects and consultants to clerks of work for your client.
