This business pays well, promotes quickly and work fast, and require people with a commitment to their work and loyalty to a business who want to work for their due rewards.About the role - What you'll be doingThe company described above is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager to join their team to lead one of a bunch of newly won projects. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a design & Build project in east London consisting of the demolition of 14no garages and the erection of 4no new build Passivhaus houses.The construction manager will be responsible for managing a team of workers and subcontractors, coordinating their activities to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications. They will also work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project plans, monitor progress, and manage resources to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met. To be successful in this role, the construction manager should have a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques, as well as strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. They should also have experience working on both residential and commercial projects and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Requirements & Rewards - What You Give & What You Get BackAs a well-established Site Manager, you should have extensive industry exposure or knowledge relating to the delivery of construction projects gained whilst working for a main contractor. Experience of dealing with similar projects will be a huge benefit, ideally demolition and new build experience along with some exposure to working on Passivehaus projects.Once you're in the door and shown your ability to learn and work hard, your opportunities are endless.
