We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor to join us in a role that will initially be aligned to a major project in the North West region. Our team will be delivering a high value scheme to extend an existing MOJ facility in Lancaster.

What will you be responsible for?
As Senior Project Quantity Surveyor you will be working on a £100M value project from pre construction through to completion. The Senior Project Quantity Surveyor will work within a close knit commercial team reporting to the Managing Q.S ensuring commercial control of high value work packages ensuring adherence to contract, management of risk and ongoing reporting for the Commercial Manager.
Your day to day will include:
- Advising on financial feasibility of projects at early stages
- Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement, assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.
- Negotiating with sub-contractor supply chain to achieve best value.
- Managing applications for payment from sub contractors and preparation of applications for payment to clients.
- Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you can demonstrate:
- Experience working on large 2 stage bids (desired)
- Strong Knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
- Prior experience of working within Main Contracting organisations.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering high value projects - up to £100M.
