Location: Flexible within the UK. Home-based, blended or fully office based (from our offices in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh or London).

An exciting opportunity to use your project management skills and join us as a Senior Project Manager a new role created to support the energy team, which is growing rapidly.

The team

The energy team s purpose is to enable households, small businesses, and communities to have affordable energy costs and reduce carbon emissions that contribute to climate change. We provide energy advice services, renewable energy expertise and manage and administer loans and grants for energy saving and low or zero-carbon improvements to homes and businesses on behalf of governments, local authorities, and businesses. We manage programmes across the UK with more being added as we grow in response to demand. We collaborate and support each other, sharing expertise and best practice and innovating to deliver world-class customer experience. Our work is service-focused and seeing the impact we have on the lives of people we support is what brings us to work each day.

The role

The role will provide project management capability and expertise to the design, set up and mobilisation of both commercial and government funded projects, supporting a range of projects across the full spectrum of energy team activity (energy advice, renewables and loans and grants management and administration).

The role will liaise with the project management office to ensure project management methodology in the energy team aligns with agreed organisational approach.

What you ll do

You will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing various projects within our organisation. With a strong background in advice service or contract management and a proven track record of delivering results, you will be responsible for leading project teams, ensuring timely and successful project completion, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What you ll bring

• Project management skills, experience and/or relevant recognised qualification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly organised with good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Flexible and able to efficiently and effectively learn and apply project specific knowledge.
• Ability to work well as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, having the ability to work with colleagues and project partners across dispersed geographical locations.
