We are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager in Wickford. The company is a multidisciplinary company with extensive and proven experience in providing a wide range of services for the internal and external fabric of commercial buildings. From maintenance and remedial works, through to fire stopping and water proofing.

The Role

Effective and efficient operational management and delivery of facility management projects work whilst maintaining high levels of customer and client satisfaction and health & safety standards. Professional line management of all operational direct reports ensuring high levels of staff competency and training are maintained, aligned with consistent engagement with supply chains to deliver operational excellence. Some of the specific duties would include:

Responsibility for operations management by working in partnership with clients to ensure that operational expectations are met, building positive working relationships with client representatives. Managing a number of projects simultaneously ensuring successful operational and commercial outcomes, whilst maintaining high levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction. Manage the journey of a job process ensuring we deliver an efficient, quick response to client requests for work quotations and starting works on site. Ensure that all sub-contractors complete and pass the subcontractor vetting process before they commence works on site. Continuously monitor the overall performance of the projects ensuring the contract SLA's or KPI's are delivered. Manage project resources maintaining efficiency and ensuring that contractual obligations are always met and maintained. Continually monitor the progress of projects ensuring works are completed on time, to a high-quality standard and to agreed specifications. Monitor the quality and safety outputs and ensure any IT systems are kept up to date with relevant project data. Hold regular monthly performance reviews with supply chains to manage relationships and drive improvements where required. Ensure toolbox talks are carried out weekly / monthly with all relevant parties. Maintain our Safety-First culture, sustainability, and environmental improvement.

About You
The ideal candidate would be either an experienced senior project manager or similar operational role, looking to take that next step into leading the operational side of a medium-sized subcontractor.
Qualifications & Training
BSc Construction management BIFM Qualification levels 2 -7 Qualified Trade background IOSH SMSTS NVQ Level 6 or equivalent
