Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.We are looking for an exceptional and highly driven trusts and foundations fundraiser to join the Trusts & Foundations Team - the same team who recently won the largest ever People's Postcode Dream Fund!This is a hugely exciting time to work for the UK's leading dementia charity. The Trusts & Foundations Team is growing, and we have plans to significantly increase our income to fund critical dementia services and research. Over the last 18 months two ground-breaking treatments have shown for the first time that it is possible to slow down the progression of Alzheimer's disease.Critical to our ambition is developing new partnerships with trusts and foundations. We have several new ground-breaking research & community projects in development that provide an exciting opportunity to grow funding from this audience, with a starter case for support and prospect lists ready-to-go.In this new role, you will develop new long-term, and transformational partnerships with high value trust and foundation funders at the £100k+ and £1m+ level. You will initially have two new and exciting major programmes of work to fundraise for, spanning cutting edge research, health inequalities, clinical trials, on-the-ground support and participation for people living with dementia, and new life-changing dementia treatments. Importantly, the role also provides the chance to deliver meaningful impact on the lives of people affected by dementia, helping us to reach our goal of securing £6+ million a year from Trusts & Foundations by 2027.Alzheimer's Society have recently been named on the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023! We have achieved excellent scores for workplace happiness, pride, and job satisfaction. This is a fantastic achievement and we're incredibly proud as this is fantastic indication of how far we've travelled over the past few years.We would love to welcome more outstanding people to join our exciting journey to make the greatest difference for people affected by dementia.This is a homeworking role, with the possibility to use our London/Birmingham office if preferred. You will be required to travel to attend donor meetings and some team-based meetings, so you must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents to work in the UK and be comfortable/willing to travel to our London flagship office if/when required for internal and external meetings.About you

- Proven record of securing high-value funding partnerships with trusts and foundations.
- An entrepreneurial approach and be able to demonstrate how you have secured new opportunities and built lasting relationships and long-term income.
- Be a confident and engaging communicator, adept at collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally.
- Detailed understanding of the evolving trusts, foundations and philanthropic landscape.
- Must understand the motivations of social impact investing for philanthropic supporters, and be curious and highly motivated about ending the devastation caused by dementia.
