Job Description
Coordinate the movements and schedules of a team comprising supervisors, mechanical fitters, and apprentices.
Collaborate closely with the scheduling team to plan upcoming jobs, typically looking 6 to 8 weeks ahead.
Engage in ongoing communication via various mediums to facilitate detailed job planning, considering staff availability, risk assessments (RAMS), and site readiness.
Flexibly adapt to sudden changes caused by unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions or emergency work requirements.
Ensure all necessary resources, including risk assessments, equipment rentals, and procured/manufactured parts, are organised and available for each job.
Manage arrangements for accommodations when team members are working away from the primary site.
Coordinate with the Works Manager of the manufacturing division to ensure timely availability of required parts.
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience in a planning or coordination role, preferably within a field involving on-site project management.
Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle varied job durations and team sizes.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle last-minute planning adjustments.
Familiarity with risk assessments (RAMS) and resource scheduling is advantageous.
What's on Offer
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000.
