Role: R&D Manager
Location: East of England
Salary: Up to 70K
Lavandi Talent is currently working with a fantastic Beauty and Personal Care business who are looking for a skilled and experienced R&D Manager to join their team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of new projects, ensuring successful execution from concept to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve project milestones.
- Oversee the development and implementation of robust sampling and stability testing protocols.
- Ensure product formulations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, leveraging a deep understanding of personal care product development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot technical challenges and optimize formulations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and standards, ensuring products comply with relevant guidelines.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in R&D management within the beauty and personal care industry.=
- Qualified to degree level in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of sampling, stability testing, technical aspects, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering multiple projects on time.
- Familiarity with market trends, consumer preferences, and industry innovations.
- Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task within a timescale and work efficiently under pressure.
- Adaptable, flexible and a team player.
- Strong skills working with Microsoft programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
