Join a dynamic and expanding team of project managers specialising in the fit-out and refurbishment of office and mixed-use buildings in the heart of Central London. My client, a prominent player in the global real estate services sector, is seeking talented individuals to contribute to their team's success. The team focuses on top-tier commercial projects and collaborates with a diverse range of prestigious investor, developer, and occupier clients.
What you will actually do -
- Lead the strategic delivery of fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring adherence to client briefs, while meeting time, quality, and cost parameters.
- Prepare compelling fee proposals and engage in effective pitches to both existing and prospective clients.
- Provide strategic advice to clients, guiding them in project planning, including approach, team formation, procurement routes, design management, project opportunities, key risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Define clear objectives aligned with company/divisional/team strategy and measure performance against these objectives.
- Produce essential project documentation such as meeting minutes, project reports, financial reports, and other associated documents.
- Represent the company at industry events and activities to enhance its profile and expand personal networks.
- Demonstrate leadership in client pitches and presentations.
- Advise clients on their options and propose appropriate strategies.
- Oversee project completion and close-out activities.
- Educate and support the team in developing enhanced technical construction knowledge.
What you will need -
- Vocational degree qualification, ideally MRICS qualified or equivalent. Other qualifications in project management, engineering, design, or cost management will also be considered.
- Proven track record of successful project management in the London office sector.
- JCT contract administration experience.
- Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and a clear understanding of the fundamentals of the London office sector.
- Experience as a valuable member of a pitch team, presenting project strategy and approach.
- Ability to support lead Project Managers from project inception to completion across multiple projects.
- Desirable experience in people management and leadership.
- Proven ability to develop skills and facilitate personal and professional growth for team members.
- Strong team player with excellent relationship-building and consulting skills, establishing trust and credibility quickly.
This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £65,000 depending on experience, a £6,500 car allowance, performance-related bonus up to £40,000 (with a guaranteed year one bonus), and extensive benefits.
