Burman Recruitment are partnering with an esteemed University based in London who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Change PMO. The successful candidate will play a critical role in a large-scale Target Operating Model transformation - focussed on improving the professional services side of the University.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of strategically significant projects to support the university's strategic goals and change initiatives.
  • Track, control, and report on project progress against the plan, identifying and managing risks and opportunities to ensure project success, and adjusting baseline plans as necessary.
  • Identify and engage project stakeholders and resources, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, agreed upon, and that stakeholder communication and expectations are managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure effective project governance and decision-making, adhering to the university's policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the university's project and programme management capabilities.

The successful candidate will have

  • Degree or substantial relevant experience
  • Professional project management qualification (PRINCE2 or similar)
  • Experience managing projects in a higher education setting or similar complex organisation (NHS, Local Government, Housing etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
