Role: INSTALLATION & ONSITE PROJECT MANAGER
- Salaried (38-hour week).

Main Description:
Responsible for organising onsite work/resources on machines including installation, commissioning, welding, training etc. Responsible for co-ordinating weld sample preparation and weld procedure testing, with the (Head of Welding and Samples) Also responsible for training service engineers.
Detailed Description:
- Coordinate the provision of training for maintenance & operations.
- Where necessary, carry out, assist, or manage weld samples and weld procedure testing including liaison with destructive and non-destructive testing service providers.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring resource distribution and scheduling is clearly defined to achieve required deliverables on time.
- During a new machine build, funded project or machine upgrade you will assist in projecting the machine up to test.
- During acceptance, delivery, and commissioning, you will be responsible ensuring resource distribution and scheduling is clearly defined.
- Amalgamate and manage communications for future projects.
- Communicate with management and clients to meet and manage expectation of timelines.
- Produce documentation/reports to ensure clear status updates between stakeholders.
- Hybrid for remote working, travel to client/customer site when required.
- Depending on workload you may be required to assist in testing new machines and equipment in the factory.
- you may also be used to carry out general development work with engineering.
