A curtain and soft furnishings manufacturer working with luxury hotels, the build to rent (BTR) market, student accommodation, and cruise ships are looking to a hire a Project Coordinator

The Company

A soft furnishings manufacturer who provides curtains, blinds, other textiles to luxury hotels, the build to rent market, student accommodation, and cruise ships. They've had a big boost in business with a lot of projects in the pipeline and are expanding their Project team. They have been busy growing and welcome two new team members this month, and they are now recruiting for one additional Project Coordinator to join the team, work closely with a Project Manager, and help coordinate projects taking them all the way from initial brief to installation sign-off.

The Role

  • Supporting the Project Manager, working on client accounts managing projects from initial brief to installation sign-off
  • Calculating costs from specifications, preparing quotes and sourcing alternative fabrics
  • Placing orders for raw materials, finished goods and services - accurate order inputting on inhouse software
  • Liaising with production team ensuring deadlines are met
  • Liaising with contractors and site managers to arrange site surveys and installations, providing all relevant paperwork
  • Ensuring jobs are processed and completed according to install schedules

About You

To be successful in this role you will need experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, Sales Support, or similar role within Contract Textiles / Soft Furnishings.

The role has hybrid working built in as standard but can also be offered on a remote basis 100% from home, with the occasional visit to head office for training or big company meetings a few times a year if you're not local to the office. Because of that, you could be based anywhere in the UK - but if you do happen to live nearby (they're based the Greater Manchester / Lancashire area) they have a great office with a subsidised restaurant, free parking, and a fab bunch of people.
