We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Surveyor to join our team. The Mechanical Surveyor will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and ensuring the quality and safety of mechanical systems and installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
- Perform tests to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely, in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
2. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all mechanical systems meet design specifications, safety codes, and industry standards.
- Identify and document any deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to address issues.
3. Project Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical projects, providing technical expertise and support.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, test results, and any required repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
5. Client Interaction:
- Communicate with clients to discuss inspection results, provide recommendations, and address any concerns.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical surveying
