My client are a medium sized building services company who are looking to expand their growing team with a Mechanical Assistant Contracts Manager in the offices based in Gatwick.

Package includes: 50,000 - 55,0000 Per Annum, 20 days holiday + BH, pension, parking, private healthcare, 5k car allowance after successful probaiton period.

Responsibilities but not limited:

• Attending small mechanical works projects and providing quotations
• Small reactive mechanical works ranging from 100 - 50,000
• Organising labour and response to Mechanical Reactive & Small Works
• Ensuring Work Completion Form documentation is complete
• Ensuring RAMS and H&S documentation are produced for the jobs
• Running a small team of engineers and sub-contractors
• Cover London and the Southeast
• The role is to progress to Mechanical Contracts Manager in near future.
• Technical involvement in tender returns and project delivery

Qualifications and key skills required

• Must have a good understanding of mechanical and technical knowledge especially in plumbing and ventilation systems (commercial).
• Gas Safe Knowledge would be beneficial.
• The successful candidate must come from an engineering background.
• Have good knowledge of reactive works, with good organisation.
• Must have experience in running a small team of engineers.
• Asbestos Awareness
• Valid CSCS
• Valid driving license
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 with a view to training to diploma HNC level
