We're now looking for a Learning & Development Partner in London. The main role is to support the design and delivery of the learning and development strategy for the UK and Europe region. This is achieved by designing, delivering, and coordinating a mixture of high-quality learning and development interventions to meet the diverse needs of the region and to consistently develop and grow our people in alignment with their development needs and organizational goals.

The scope of work includes ideation, design, delivery, and coordination of virtual or in-person training solutions, online and other learning interventions in collaboration with other L&D team members, relevant stakeholders, and external partners.

The Part You'll Play as Learning & Development Partner

  • Ensuring the delivery and effective coordination of existing L&D programs.
  • Building and implementing a comprehensive employee upskilling and MH & Wellness learning calendar.
  • Ideating, developing, and implementing various L&D interventions (outsourced and/or in-house).
  • Partnering and working closely with key stakeholders (HRDs, HR teams, Learning Ambassadors, global L&D team etc.) to understand L&D challenges, needs, and wants and help create effective and successful learning and development solutions.
  • Designing and delivering live, virtual, and blended learning workshops, trainings, and other presentations.
  • Developing, designing, and curating online content.
  • Driving innovation and best practices in how we deliver learning to anyone, anywhere.
  • Identifying and utilizing current learning vendors and exploring new external partnerships to ensure best learning experiences for our employees.
  • Working with Associate Director, Learning & Development - UK & Europe, to negotiate best prices and work with external training and other providers to deliver most effective learning solutions.
  • Ensuring effective, clear, and engaging communication of the L&D programs and other L&D interventions.
  • Measuring the success and assessing the impact of regional L&D programs and other L&D interventions and reporting it to McCann Worldgroup agencies or other relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting Associate Director, Learning & Development - UK & Europe in conducting training needs analysis in and identifying skill or knowledge gaps.
  • Partnering with agencies on various L&D enquiries, requests and different add hock learning solutions.
  • Providing excellent customer service and motivating employees to engage with L&D activities.
  • Partnering with Associate Director, Learning & Development - UK & Europe to continuously improve L&D processes and practices.
  • Staying up to date on and practicing progressive L&D interventions and emerging practices and providing creative ideas how these could be successfully tailored and applied in MW learning environment.
  • Working closely with the global L&D team to ensure alignment, effective L&D delivery for the region, sharing best practices and supporting the global initiatives.
  • Supporting Associate Director, Learning & Development - UK & Europe in delivering Management & Leadership and Mentoring & Coaching Academy interventions.
  • Monitoring L&D expenses in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Tracking and managing the L&D budget.

  • Advanced organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to complete full training cycle: assess needs, plan, develop, communicate, train or coordinate, monitor, evaluate andimprove.
  • A high comfort level with public speaking and presenting to large groups of people while encouraging engagement and participation.
  • Engaging presentation and verbal as well as written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating PDF documents and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Communicating clearly and knowledgeably with stakeholders, learners, and colleagues.
  • Being proactive and able to act on own initiative.
  • Ability to design a high-quality content (training and online).
  • Creativity in all aspects of L&D.
  • Delivering the role with consciousness of the budget and with an emphasis on cost effectiveness.
