HR Administrator

Job Type: 12-month fixed term contract (Maternity Cover)

The Role

The company are seeking a HR Administrator to manage the entire employee life cycle, provide efficient service to employees and managers across various locations, and assist in implementing HR projects. Main Duties:

  • Process all starter and leaver documentation
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and freelance agreements
  • Conduct background checks and respond to reference queries
  • Support and administrate the probationary review process
  • Prepare payroll changes for Finance, ensuring timely submission for the monthly payroll cycle
  • Administrate and maintain company benefits programs
  • Maintain the HR filing system, ensuring all documents are current and properly filed
  • Respond to queries from managers and employees promptly
  • Manage and update the HR System (PeopleHR), ensuring data accuracy and generating reports as needed
  • Deliver ad hoc and planned HR projects aligned with business priorities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, best practices, and current legislation
  • Assist the Recruiter with interview scheduling
  • Manage the HR email inbox, responding to queries or forwarding them to the appropriate team member
  • Minute meetings as and when required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in a broadcast environment with employees and freelancers is an advantage but not essential
  • Proven ability to engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external, face-to-face and via video/telephone conferencing
  • Strong written and numerical skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing HR policies and procedures
  • Basic knowledge of employment law
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using various databases and systems
