What this job involves

We are currently seeking a Head of Client Growth and Tech Sales, EMEA to join the Client Growth and Tech Sales Team to oversee a team of Sales Executives who are focused on growing existing accounts as well as targeting prospective clients in select verticals within the occupier segment. The role is responsible for sales across both our Work Dynamics business line and JLL Technologies Business line.

The role is responsible for developing strategic sales plans to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for JLL's Technology and Workplace Products purchased by our clients.

The position will act and think as a strategic business leader. The role will align the sales team's values while inspiring confidence and generating excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment towards the business goals. The main responsibilities and expectations include:

What your day-to-day will look like

As the Head of Client Growth and Tech Sales, EMEA, you will be directly responsible for the sales organization go to market strategy and execution for a portfolio of products and services that include JLL technology products, technology advisory services as well as workplace services including occupancy planning, lease administration, sustainability and portfolio development services (PDS). Responsibilities and expectations include:
  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives in conjunction with Global Head of Client Growth and Tech Sales, Marketing and Business Line Leaders
  • Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
  • Recommends sales strategies and Go-To-Market (GTM) sales plays for growing product and services adoption on market research and competitor analyses.
  • Builds, develops and manages sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives and meeting sales targets.
  • Develops relationships with internal customer relationship managers to collaborate on account development and expansion sales strategies.
  • Participates in pitches to clients providing overall solution development strategy to the overall sales team on the pursuit.
  • Develops key relationships in industry, clients, prospects participating in key industry events and speaking engagements creating market eminence.
  • Collaborates with the Customer Success Team for account management and sales planning strategies.
  • Partner with the Proposal Management team to help them improve the delivery of strategic bids.
  • Partner closely with the Marketing and Business Development Teams to analyze the competitive landscape and a develop a strategy to deliver updated and new sales materials to the sales organization.
  • Negotiates contracts on behalf of JLL, within approved limits.
  • Partner closely with the Revenue Operations to analyze sales performance metrics and identify ways to improve cross-selling across the sales organization.

Education and experience
  • Demonstrable & relevant/professional experience in similar roles, preferably in Sales, Marketing, Consulting or Client Account Management.
  • Experience working in Corporate Real Estate, Technology or Software industries is a plus.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and motivate others on a team and help them succeed.
  • High attention to detail and very organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skills
  • Results driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth work environment
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM platform), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Capacity to conceptualize as well as operationalize commercial strategies.
  • Ability to efficiently interact with company senior leaders.
  • Superior organizational awareness.
  • Experienced at managing diverse and geographically remote teams.
