Facilities Manager - Somerset - Education
Your new company
My client, a large multi-academy education trust based in Somerset, are looking for 2 Facilities Managers to be based at 2 of their larger secondary schools.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Estates for the trust, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the school. This will include, but not be limited to - overseeing contractors for various construction, replacement and maintenance duties, managing a small in-house team of fabric and maintenance technicians and working closely with the central team to identify future scope of work and projects.
This person will also have managerial responsibility for the soft services team, including the cleaning group.
What you'll need to succeed
Candidates applying will have facilities experience of a similar environment as well as a good understanding of health and safety and compliance.
