We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to join a highly successful travel company office based in London. This dynamic and forward thinking travel company offers an array of corporate and leisure travel and events across the UK and beyond.

Exciting role for an events professional from an events background seeking career growth and something a little different.

Event and Marketing Manager Duties:

  • Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
  • Research on locations and event choices for multiple cities for corporate and leisure clients.
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
  • Managing supplier relationships.
  • Travel to locations to source contacts if required.
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction, and support to your team.
  • Working out event budget, and logistics (hotel, venue, catering, etc).
  • Managing effective event management campaigns.
  • Managing post-event marketing communications.
  • Looking at social media and suggest various marketing opportunities.

Event Manager - Essential Requirements:

  • Experience within events from an events company is essential
  • In-depth understanding of event management procedures.
  • Logistical mindset
  • Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital event promotion tools such as social media channels.
  • Understanding of key performance indicators in events management.
