Electrical Project Manager
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Salary: 60k - 70k based on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Join a leading specialist contractor in commercial and retail installation projects, with project values ranging from 40k to 700k. We are looking for a talented Electrical Project Manager to be part of our dynamic team, driving excellence in every project we undertake.
As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee a variety of commercial and retail projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is an office-based role in Burgess Hill, with regular site and survey visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of electrical installation projects, including planning, procurement, scheduling, and budget control.
- Lead project teams, ensuring that all work is carried out to the required standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure that projects meet quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career.
- Strong knowledge of commercial and retail electrical installations.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification, along with relevant electrical qualifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid UK driving license is essential, as the role includes travel to various sites. A Tesla company car will be provided for site visits.
