The Development Project Delivery Manager will take the helm of driving forward new build and regeneration projects in the North and Midlands, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Schemes are based across Birmingham, Manchester and Chester so the successful candidate will ideally be based local to these locations or willing to travel.

Description

  • Overseeing all aspects of new build construction projects from planning to implementation.
  • Allocating resources for assigned projects.
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analysing and summarising relevant information.
  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
  • Assessing project risks and issues and providing solutions where applicable.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Construction, Housing/Property or Project Management.
  • Proven experience in project management and team leadership within the construction sector.
  • Experience leading on multiple new build housing schemes.
  • Strong understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in project management software tools.

Job Offer
