Hays are delighted to be working with a privately-owned contractor based in Co. Tyrone in their search to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager to strengthen their business. With over 35 years+ experience within the construction industry, the company has an innovative, reliable and flexible attitude in delivering their new build projects throughout NI & ROI. They have a reputation for delivering schemes in sectors such as education, historic restoration buildings, commercial and hotels and now require a Contracts Manager to oversee a busy order book as well as all operational and contractual elements within the business.Your new role
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for handling multiple contracts at a time, taking projects through to completion. You must have the ability to combine high class management skills with commercial knowledge and solid technical ability in order to control budget and maximise profit. You must have experience of managing key contracts across a range of projects to be able to carry out the role effectively. This role will be based out of HQ in Omagh carrying out work on contracts across NI & ROI.What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Contracts Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing multiple large-scale construction projects at any given time, with a vast knowledge of contractual obligations. This position requires someone with a high level of organisation, results-driven and with a particular eye for detail along with an excellent work ethic. Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills will be key to ensuring the successful delivery of all projects in a timely manner, to budget & to the standard required.What you'll get in return
