Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-construction Leadership: Lead the commercial strategy during the pre-construction phase, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive project planning and budgeting.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, cost control, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project finances rigorously to ensure alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
- Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring terms are favorable and mitigate risks effectively.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate commercial risks through proactive analysis and strategic planning. Implement measures to safeguard project profitability and compliance.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to drive cohesive project delivery. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes communication and problem-solving.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations to deliver tailored solutions. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on commercial matters.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the construction industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of pre-construction processes, including budgeting, estimating, and tendering.
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage contracts and drive cost-effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for financial analysis and project management.
