Approved Electrician
Industrial - Factories, Warehouses and Quarries.
Annual Salary: £50,000-£55,000 p/a comfortably.
Hours: Monday to Friday day 40-50 hours per week, usually 6/7am start and 3/4pm finish.
Benefits: Fully expensed company van, Door to door overtime paid at X1.5 for any hours over 40, 8% pension, 28 Days holiday inc bank holidays days, Sick Pay Scheme.
Location: East Midlands & UK projects - 50% East Midlands work / 50% Out of town.
The Business
Auxtronic is partnered with a leading electrical contractor that has over 50 years of experience within the Food & Beverages, Aggregates & Quarrying and Rail industry.
They specialise in installations and will complete a variety of electrical projects for customers including control panels, site electrical/facilities enhancements, machinery installations, EV Charger points, Air Conditioning, Three phase distribution boards and BMS systems.
Family run and very team focused, the business employs around 30 people and turnover in excess of £1M per annum, they have a full order book and a lot of overtime availability for approved electricians.
Their engineering team comprises: Project Managers, Electrical Design Engineers, Lead Electricians, Industrial Electricians, Workshop Engineers and the Technical Support Teams.
The role: Approved Electrician

Carrying out electrical installations across the East Midlands, working within a team of Electricians to ensure projects are commissioned on time and to high standards.

Projects include: Power and Lighting, Control Panels, Electrical equipment installations, Wiring, trunking, cable joining, containment, LV electrics, 3 Phase distribution boards aswell as facilities improvements across the sites.

Working from schematic drawings to ensure work is carried out to standard, signing off own work.
Entry Requirements:
Qualifications: Approved Electrician with a City & Guilds 2391/2395, JIB Gold Card/ECS Card, AM2, 18th Edition and an Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.
Experience: 5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, carrying out electrical installations within factory and warehousing environments.
