Procurement Partner (Senior Procurement Officer/Procurement Manager)

Contract: 6 Month contract (Chance of extension)

Salary: Grade 6/7

Location: Remote - Ad-hoc visits to London

We are working with an NHS function to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a background in clinical products. The role will be focused on sourcing and accessing new suppliers for a number of clinical categories. This is a new function and offers an exciting opportunity to work on a new approach.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying requirements of the project with internal stakeholders.
• Assessing the most appropriate procurement process to be used, developing the tendering documentation, and assessing suppliers.
• Managing the procurement process.
• Negotiating contracts and managing through to signature.

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement.
• Knowledge of clinical product ranges.
• Strong project management skills.
• Solid, experienced procurement professional, who is self-sufficient and a self-starter.
