Senior Facilities Manager

Remarkable Jobs are seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of our clients facilities management functions, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will be focused on continuously improving the operation, appearance, and maintenance of the property/properties and will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and reviewing all necessary contracts.

Senior Facilities Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all facilities management functions are performed satisfactorily and maintained to a high standard.
  • Actively identify ways to enhance the operation, appearance, and maintenance of the property/properties.
  • Plan, implement, manage, review, and administer all contracts necessary for running the property/properties.
  • Process routine repairs and requests through the in-house team or approved contractors, ensuring regular monitoring and reporting.
  • Oversee all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and other maintenance works, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation regarding Risk Management, Sustainability, and Health and Safety.
  • Manage all aspects of Health & Safety, including risk assessments and asbestos assessments, ensuring timely and efficient actions.
  • Regularly inspect all common areas, noting issues and arranging for resolution either through on-site engineers or third-party contractors.
  • Produce and review the annual operating budget, manage expenditure, and ensure effective budget control for properties and projects.
  • Attend regular meetings with the management team/client to review progress against the budget.
  • Manage all contractors on-site, including RAM s site inductions and supervision.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and manage on-site teams including FM staff, reception, cleaners, security, maintenance team, post room/porters, and catering.

Senior Facilities Manager Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in facilities management
  • Strong understanding of compliance with Risk Management, Sustainability, and Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent contract management and budget management skills
  • Ability to manage and supervise diverse teams and contractors
  • Exceptional problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Effective communication and reporting skills
