In line with our continuous growth, we are in search of an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on drainage to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

The company seeks a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with extensive expertise in drainage design and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful projects, showcasing robust technical prowess, and offering innovative solutions to intricate engineering challenges. As a key member of the team, the Senior Civil Engineer will spearhead drainage design endeavours, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure project deliverables align with client expectations and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design and analysis of drainage systems across various civil engineering projects, including stormwater management, flood control, and drainage infrastructure.
  • Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess drainage requirements and mitigate flood risks effectively.
  • Draft comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for drainage systems.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a specialised focus on drainage design and management.
  • Proficiency in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software such as HEC-RAS, SWMM, or similar platforms.
  • Sound understanding of pertinent codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to drainage design (e.g., ASCE, EPA, local building codes).
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
