Global Media Data & Insights Analyst

Overview:

The role of Global Corporate Affairs & Communications is to help build and protect PwC's global reputation through effective engagement with a broad set of stakeholders (internal and external), to support and accelerate the delivery of PwC's purpose, strategy and commercial ambitions.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Data and Insights Analyst to join us. The successful candidate will work as part of our global, virtual team engaging with PwC colleagues from around our global network. They will support work undertaken within the team to enhance and protect PwC's global reputation, by researching, reporting and creating insight into the impact that our messages and campaigns are creating with key external stakeholders.

Key Duties:
  • Obtain and process data to enable the measurement and monitoring of media and outreach strategies in support of PwC's global priority and reputational campaigns.
  • Set up searches, export and make use of data to respond to real-time reporting needs using the platform supplied by PwC's external media monitor vendor.
  • Provide end-to-end quantitative analysis including metrics design, model development, data analysis, and dashboard building.
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, including reports on PwC's share of voice when compared to the media activities of direct competitors.
  • Create and manage dashboards/scorecards/reports/presentations that communicate status, evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, and include recommendations for action.
  • Validate data and quality assure work and reports that are currently outsourced to the IAC
  • Identify ways to streamline data collection efforts and processes across different functions.
  • Identify and make suggestions for improvement, including the design and use of data visualisation tools.
  • Provide support and capacity to the Research & Insights Manager to aid the production of ad-hoc reporting requirements within the team.


About You:
  • With a background in statistics and data analysis
  • Who has the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Who has experience of using data transformation and visualisation tools (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau)
  • With strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • With a passion for technology and taking personal responsibility to stay on top of new developments
  • With experience of media monitoring and analysis including social and traditional media.
  • Who can draw and extract conclusions from data and transform data into rich, meaningful, relevant insights.
  • Who can communicate with clarity in both written and verbal formats, to make recommendations and inform future decision making.
  • Able to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously, including rapid turnaround and more strategic projects.
  • With strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset and experience with internal stakeholder management.
