Facilities Management job based in High Wycombe

My client delivers facilities management and project services to the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). One of the largest public sector employers in the UK, which provides defence and security for the nation.
Your new role
It is a challenging and rewarding opportunity as an Area Manager, where you will be responsible for leading a team of site managers and engineers to deliver high-quality services and work across a portfolio of MOD properties in your assigned area. You will act as the senior focal point for all Head of Establishments (HoEs) and Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) representatives within your area, ensuring customer satisfaction and contract compliance. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from maintenance and repair to sustainability and carbon-reduction initiatives. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What you'll need to be successful:
You will require a strong background in delivering engineering, technical and FM services to the UK MOD or similar organisations, have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and can act as the senior focal point for all HoEs and DIO representatives within your SDA. You will have a good understanding of the DIO contract processes and procedures, and can deliver contract performance, compliance, resource and output of all sites within your SDA. Not only that, but you will need to express a keen interest in sustainability and carbon reduction and can identify and implement opportunities on Establishments that will support the MoD's targets. Have the experience of having sound commercial acumen and budget management skills and can monitor and review P&L for effective delivery within contractual requirements. Have a high regard for health and safety, quality and statutory best practice within the SDA.
